Mayor Derrick Sangster & former Mayor Everton Fisher signs condolence book

Mayor of Black River and chairman of the St Elizabeth Municipal Corporation Derrick Sangster is watched by minority leader Everton Fisher as he signs the condolence book for the late Donald Horne, former councillor for the Junction Division. The St Elizabeth Municipal Corporation had opened a condolence book at its offices in Black River for Donald Horne, who served for 25 years as parish councillor representing the People's National Party (PNP) in the Junction Division during the 1970s, 1990s and early 2000s, he died on July 25 at age 98.
A thanksgiving service for Mr. Horne was held at Munro College Auditorium on Sunday, August 20, and his body was interned at the family plot in Junction, south-east St Elizabeth.
