The Commercial Services Department
The Commercial Services Department is responsible for the proper management of all markets, transportation centres, cemeteries, sanitary conveniences and commercial entities, which are under the authority of the Parish Council.

Proper maintenance of the Council’s markets is a priority. Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Roads and works and the Commercial Services Department, weekly cleaning, washing and sanitizing the markets is undertaken.

To ensure the proper operations of the market facilities, all vendors must have a valid license. The permit must be on hand al all times while operating in the market or arcade. Vending without a license will result in fines under the Litter Act and Town and Country Planning Act. Vending outside the market may result in seizure of goods.

Head of the Commercial Services department is the Commercial Services Manger.

The Municipal Police unit also falls under the supervision of the Commercial Services department.
